Our Role

• Undertook independent site monitoring for the funder through regular visits to review works completed, progress, and key risks.
• Assessed drawdown requests against the cost plan and progress on site to support fair, informed release of funds.
• Produced structured interim reports throughout, highlighting material issues, implications for completion, and any actions required.
• Identified and reported on planning compliance, advising on implications and next steps.

• Maintaining alignment with approved plans where alterations are required to suit layouts and compliance requirements.
• Existing services capacity and routes (drainage, utilities, ventilation) affecting design, cost and programme.
• Asbestos considerations and the knock-on impact on methodology, timescales and cost.

• The funder’s interests were protected through independent monitoring and clear reporting on progress, cost and key risks throughout.
• Planning compliance was managed as a live issue throughout, reducing avoidable exposure for the funder.
